Between 19 June and 6 September 2025, six evenings at Technorama will pulse with a different kind of energy.
“Spätschicht” is more than just an event series. It’s a blend of science, art, music, and performance that defies categorisation. Bold, unexpected, creative, and seriously entertaining. Forget boring summer nights – join us as the park becomes a playground for fresh ideas and experience science in a way you’ve never seen before.
Beyond the stage performances, from 5.30 p.m. to 10.00 p.m., you’ll have the chance to dive into the park – a place of connection – far from the daily rush. Enjoy the evening with friends, work colleagues, or on your own. Discover the power of wind, the force of water, or the impressive Wonder Bridge featuring what might be the world’s largest water droplet – all with a tasty drink in hand. Theatresports are well known across the country. But watch out: at Technorama, the improv team from Casinotheater Winterthur takes on staff from Technorama and their scientific experiments. Bet even seasoned improv pros will be thrown off balance? A humorous and unconventional showdown in a witty performance.

The Swiss premiere of “Drag me to Science” – the science drag show with Canadian roots! Six drag queens with scientific backgrounds take the stage to bring science to life through the powerful art of drag performance, infused with an extra dose of glamour. Science communication, queer visibility, and entertainment – educational, entertaining, and unforgettable!

On this evening, the park transforms into a space where science and techno merge. Can science be expressed through sound? What does it feel like? Interference offers you pulsating beats, hypnotic lights, and interactive discoveries like you’ve never experienced before. Classical meets Pop-Folk-Jazz

The finalists from “Stadt, Land, Talent” – Sira Eigenmann, Srdjan Vukasinovic and the Klassik Nuevo Orchestra – catapult Vivaldi’s Four Seasons into the here and now with improvisation and modern influences. Experience virtuoso satellite concerts throughout the park and a unique final concert in the pavilion.
Science meets Magic
Neuromentalist Meets Scientist

A show that combines science and magic in an unexpected and captivating way. Experience cheerful interactions, astonishing illusions, and exciting experiments with neuromentalist Pad Alexander and scientist Marco Miranda.
